I'm glad that Lourdes was so well received at Valerius' house. I think she will indeed become an asset. Poor Julia to finally see that her visions are not real. Nicely written.

Another good chapter. My only complaint is that your first two sentences are too similar, "...who was not alone." The second sentence ending with "he was not all one."

This is moving along really splendid. There is just enough characters to be interesting and not too many to keep up with. I have no idea where you will take this except I know they must die to get to the next life cycle.

For a brief moment I found myself sitting on a mountain top in the Himalayas. When you said that last line, I thought to myself, "So must we all." I don't know why, probably lack of sleep, but I really cracked myself up. Hahaha. Glad you're liking this. I am too. I REALLY don't want to kill them. :))

Hey mate! Good chapter again. I am sure some of this is from your case books of your folks you have or had in your care. Good work and great reading really getting into it for sure. Found an old Stand alone chapter of my autobiography so moved some chapters to include it and spread some of the others out a little. It was the same as one chapter I already had in the book I Wish I could move it's reviews to the new place where that chapter resides now? Any ideas?

Glad you're liking this. Me too! It's a bear trying to move stuff around. The previous posting is there like an anchor dragging along. Renaming things and moving them to part two and the like is about all I know. You've come up with better ideas than I!!

This was a very good chapter where we realise more and more of the potential dangers Julia may be in. However, she now has a number of allies. Great story line and sympathetic characters. Most enjoyable. Faye

Michael: Tom needs to give us some tens for stories. I like how you have added in characters to help Julia and Valerius. Note, if Cassius has a leg injury, then he can't run. Maybe, he can ride a horse to find help. Cassius is not on the list of people.

How can she make a roast? Do they go to the market to buy the meat? Did they have grocery stores or meat markets, butchers back then? Or were you hungry for the roast and veggies since it is fall. Details, I'm being picky, remember its back then. My grandpa used to go to the butcher to get fresh German sausage. She could not go in the freezer to get this roast. Ok, you get the point.

As always, I like your stories and have fun competing with you in the contests. The trochee was fun and my first try at this style. Yours was awesome!

Ok, I'm going to read the next chapter. God bless!

So Julia has finally tasted the truth and it was too much for her. Looks like her brain is going through a reboot. I wonder if Valerius will be able to snap her out of it. Lourdes and her daughter staying with Valerius and family is an interesting twist. Perhaps the girl will be able to snap Julia out of her trance.
Great chapter.

Julia is getting worse. It is hard for her to tell the visions from reality. It is getting harder for her to get out of the power of the visions. She will work her doctor, Valerius. Maybe Florentia can help her. I think Lourdes will be a big help to Valerius. Great work.

Each chapter adds more intrigue and tension to the previous one. Great writing an obviously excellent research on this period of time. I continue to enjoy this and cannot wait until you post the next chapter.
