Nice job with your 7/6 quatrains about "Jack". The ABCB rhyme scheme makes it flow smoothly and we feel happy to know that Jack has your back. 8-)

The photo's are so nice. And then a rhyming poem, not that scary about Jack-O-Lantern. It must still be coming then. Thanks for sharing.

What a "cute" story about something that gets little respect especially at Halloween. I like the personification greatly. There is a natural flow to the poem. I like how the ending verse sums up poem. I like the many examples you state that your friend Jack will protect you from. Thanks for sharing a fun poem. I enjoyed reading it.

I've enjoyed this poem so much, Brooke! I hope Jack-O'-Lantern will befriend my kids. They are so fearful of darkness, little noises etc. I suspect, they can see ghosts. I also love to look at the photograph. Sawyer is indeed lovable. God bless him! lovelots, c", Mae

Brooke: I enjoyed this read and seeing picture of Sawyer growing, with Jack at his back. Rythmic and fun, rhyme to move the story along and an exciting view of a one, two and three year old boy. Nice work. Linda

Great friend this Jack.
He fights off, warns off, and keeps off evry manner of dastardly Halloween monster, witch or ghoul. This sounds like a pshychological remedy for fear; a superhero Jack-O-Lantern with a night watchman licence. yes, any kid would want one of those.
Terrifically entertaining verse for kids at this time.

I remember that feeling of being part of the frightening scene, insulated from harm because of it. A childish cop out but it made the dark night a wonderful, and delightful experience. Your 7/6 is working max. Kenny

I was beginning to think the family grew. How fast it happens. Whenever I need a brake and a smile I read of Sawyer and it never disappoints. Thank you. Blessings. Barbara
