Laughing at this tongue and cheek gloat you've got going here. I'm sensing a football rivalry, sigh. I gather the Eagles clobbered the Giants. I was cured of that bug long ago and have lost all interest in the NFL (Not For Ladies League)for the most part. I'm still a fan of any team that beats the Cowboys though.

Fun poem, one can hear the gloating as it is read aloud. But, I wonder what you will post when your beloved Eagles are shot from the sky? It's bound to happen, and what if it happens in the big game? I'll be looking forward to that one too, should it be necessary... Rah Rah Eagles. Truth be told I don't like the Giants either....

But the flow is good and nice rhymes.
Feels like saying that those that soar high above everyone else don't need to care about those down below. But I'm pretty sure that not your point, unless sarcastically?

Melspoems, yes, it is a private joke about a bet Lee and I had on the Eagles/Giants pro football game that just ended in a humiliating defeat for his team :-) That's why I only paid out 27 cents. LOL :-) Brooke
