Very cute counting poem; not fond of spiders but this wasn't too scary! Good use of descriptive language and excellent rhythm and flow. Most enjoyable. Faye

Nosha, thank you so much. It's always less scary if they're the ones dying off. LOL :-) Brooke

This is yet another interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of work. This is a cunning take on the ten little Indians poem and I love it.

Another one of your excellent counting poems which guarantee a lot of fun every time.
Spindly spiders of course provides wonderful alliteration every time and the rest of your clever lines let us try to guess how the next arachnid will come to a sticky end.

This picture is absolutely perfect. I take it this poem is for adult children as it is a bit morbid. I love these counting ones, though. Were you inspired by the picture or did you happen to find one that was just right?

Such a cute little treat for Halloween! :) I love the counting poems and this one beats them all.
Nice rhymes, nice sequence, and a nice countdown story.

I always enjoy your count down or up poems - they are inventive, often humorous, and always endearing. Nicely done again!

This is such a fun poem. I know children will love reading or listening to this because they love countdowns, and especially one so clever. My five-year-old granddaughter, Jane, loves me to read a book about ghosts living in a haunted house that I has them disappearing one by one as the spiders do. Especially like the one tumbling in soup!

I don't like spiders but if they stay out of my way, I don't bother them. I saw a thing on facebook a while ago that rings very true for me. It says: "I am a very gentle and kind person, until I see a spider. Then I turn into Al Capone. I want the spider dead. I want his family dead, and his house burned down." Another great poem.

I'm not a big fan of spiders, but I do like this poem. It's cute and would be perfect to read to children at Halloween. Nice work.

This is a fun and well thought out take on 'and then there were none'. The topic is certainly appropriate for the oncoming Halloween season.
