I sometimes feel akin to that last spindly spider. There used to be more counting down poems out there. I like this
one.

Comment from Drew Delaney
This is exceptionally well written, Brooke. I think it could be kid-friendly for older kids. Not the youngsters.
I like the spindly spider theme.
The rhyming was excellent.
The rhythm flowed nicely and could be recited by teenagers if they wished. I think all children should learn poems by heart.
Well written and an enjoyable read. Boo!!

Thank you, Drew - yes, the older kids love dark :-) Just no poems about stomping and drowning for toddler Sawyer and his crowd yet. LOL Brooke :-)

The incy beancy spider went up the water spout. How many times did you play that with you kids? That and I'm a little tea pot? I love this. You rock. I hate spiders.

Thanks so much, Granny :-) I appreciate your generous rating. Yep, sang those songs and did the motions with my kids, and sang the songs as a child myself :-) Brooke

Have to give you one six a week, or I would have to give you all...most of the time. LOL.
