Oh, I think children could have handled that. I mean, it can't be any worst then 'The itseebitsee spider' LOL. Loved the art work btw.

Nasty little spiders it appears. As usual I like your work. It has a nice flow to it and it tells a story. Easy to understand, and I too like the artwork you have with it...Works perfectly!

'Ten Spindly Spiders' is an extremely well-written and entertaining piece. I'm so pleased not to be a spindly spider! It was a pleasure to review this talented poet's work.

Thanks so much, Duchess. Yep, being a spider doesn't work out well for these spindly guys. LOL :-)
You're very welcome Brooke. I'm sort of spindly, but haven't woven any webs lately

Dear Brooke,
Ten spiders went on a prowl but only one survived the night. Poor spiders that is for sure but who cares if spiders meet their doom. (LOL)
Warm regards,
Winslow

I love this. Perhaps it is not for tiny children, but depending on the child, I know some five and six year-olds that would love it. The also love Three Billy Goats Gruff because of the scary troll under th bridge.
Love the picture. Those leaves look like claws against the moon. The spider is set off perfectly.

One spindly spider lived on without his friends --
and that is all there is to tell as this, my sad tale, ends.
Our expert Lady Brooke is back, with an amazing spider poem, so much the rhyming is beautiful, the spiders started to dance. You are trully amazing. Love Terry xoxo
Yet I miss Sawyer. xoxo

this is a brilliant piece of poetic art! it reminds me of the song: 99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer. take one down, pass it around, 98 bottles of beer on the wall. and so on.. your poem is however quite eloquent. the 99 beers are not.
thank you for sharing!

Hi, Brooke, I really like this poem but feel somewhat sorry for the spiders! I put a large one out of the door the other day and hope it's ok! They seem to like my bathtub for some reason! A great poem well suited to a young audience though not too young as you say. Best wishes, Pete :)

Pete, thank you so much for your generous response to this poem. You sound like such a nice guy to take special care to save the spider. I just squash them. LOL Now I am feeling very guilty :-) Brooke
