Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

Well said! I rose high in the corporate world of retail and all you say is totally true. What is a must have is completely dictated by the influence media has on the masses. Some things remain, but most eventually fizzle out leaving us to wonder why it became so important in the first place. Belief in ourselves allows us to swim upstream and if we stay true to that, we often find others joining us in a refreshing swim of pure originality. This is marvelous and I thank you so much for sharing it with me.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

I can recall a buyer asking me 'what's hot?' and my simple answer was, "What would you like to make hot?" But she didn't like the answer wanted to follow a trend, not create one--as most forward-thinking companies do.

    Thanks.

I was one of those who created, much to the dismay of many a vendor. They are always afraid to step out until they see that a little risk can generate lots of profit LOL. I am happy to be done with all that.

Me too. Where did you buy?

I bought for Charming Shoppes Inc (Lane Bryant, Catherines, Fashion Bug and a host of others that became part of the empire. The buying was short term as it moved me into other areas of operations rather quickly.

When I went to the US and was heavier, I LOVED Lane Bryant!

Well, HUGS! Of the divisions LB and Catherines managed to remain true to their core values the longest.
