It's wonderful! I remember seeing this poem on the home page of fan story this morning. You really do bring summer back for all of us with this write.. and it's so truthful as well, because small children really are just as happy in their own backyards!

This is an excellent poem. Very well written. Rhyme scheme and rhythm are great and very smooth and easy to read. Sometimes we only have to look around the corner to find just what we've been looking for.
I didn't find anything that I would change.
