Just look at that happy face!
Your rhyme is excellent, the poem reads like a gentle waterfall! And the way you've started with the mighty ocean and ended with the itty-bitty slide is clever.

Best slip n' slide poem I have ever read. My favorite when I was five, was running through the sprinkler. How risque! You had to close your eyes to keep the sun-lit drops from blinding you. Lovely lyrical tetrameter, ABAB lines. You're a fine rhymer. Hope you never change.

This endearing poem just emphasizes that it is the simplest things in life that are the most pleasure and that we gain the most fun and joy from! The picture of the author's great-nephew is perfect to relay this message! This is pure joy! This moment is better to the writer than standing beside places dubbed the most beautiful spots in the world! Excellent sentiment!
