This is a quotable poem. Such lovely words, "When divine devotion dawns, doors of sorrow shut forever." "Pristine purity purges all past pain," It is almost Shakespearean.

Content & literary value of high caliber/quality.

Love whole poem, phrasing, choice of words, alliterations, rhythm, etc. & in particular lines :
- as generous , copious and vital as Kerala monsoon rains
- every single moment is laced with grace

Beautiful ode to Divine Love expressed by Amma.

In essence we all have it in us to be(come) 'hugging saints'. Those who draw back from, dislike physical touch (a.o. severely abused people) are to be equally loved, respected, embraced, 'hugged' by our hearts & spirit !

Congratulations for recognition & good luck in contest.

Hari Om Rama. Suggestions? Well you could come over to our beautiful Isle of Wight and give me a hug - well my lovely wife of 46 years will need one too -- and Ambar our maine coon as well! As one who is having to contend with doctors messing about with his chronic conditions, the poem puts it all into perspective. Thank you. Love and Aums Peter

Hari Om, dear Peter. Namaste. Thanks for your lovely suggestion (invitation) and I am coming in astral body at least to hug you, wife and Amber too. Sorry to hear of your chronic conditions. Sending prayers and healing thoughts. Glad the poem helps with that too. Everything is indeed grace...especially challenges like that, as they bring spiritual boons...

    Love and light, rd

Bless you. Ambar is spelt ***A*. Sanskrit for "light" - amber she is in colour but brings light into our lives - well provided she is fed on demand :) Love and Ambar, Peter P

You wrote this in ... TWELVE MINUTES... !

Twelve months a year
Monsoon rains come
Eternally
Beneficial
To all but me.

Twelve months a year
Love peaks through clouds
Sun and moon see
Tenderness gives
Wink from tired eyes
Tear streaked, always
Evermore mine.

Blessings,
Shane
