This is beautifully written. I truly love your descriptive passages as you engage every single one of the sense making it ever so easy for the reader to dive head first into the story. It will be interesting to see what Diedre has to say over having been caught in a lie - somehow I think she will be a bit more inventive than simply admitting to playing truant. Nicely done and I thank you so much for sharing this with me.

I don't know what is fair or not, but it would be worth a PI and a Camera to take a picture of her at the beach attached to a help wanted form, all in a pick envelope with her last paycheck. This is well written. I hope you haven't pigeon-holed your paranormal story.
