to kick her out-how about banish her, kick out seems a litle childish compared to the rest of writing.
Hmm, this sounds like it's going to be a very interesting tale. Good descrpitions that bring your characters and setttings to life. A couple times I thought you weren't being authentic to the time peroid, but it is your world and eveything is possible and it's not a historical novel, afterall. I really interesting beginning.
