Well written, Phyllis. I wonder whether it is best for Blaze not to be there. I would almost think, her not being at the wedding, may be worse than if she just would have gone. Oh, Boy!

Thanks so much, Drew. She wants no part of it, but could not stop Luke from going. This way, she may be able to help somehow. If she is seen with a troublemaker, Tara would be embarrassed because Blaze is a friend and it would make people ask questions. We'll get to that next chapter. :)

This is great. Love the disagreement between Blaze and Luke. Blaze seems pretty clever at manipulating him. Possibly because Luke isn't too bright. Funny description of the confessional--interrogation booths. Luke seems determined to stop the wedding. He thinks he'll be okay if he has a good disguise. With Luke determined to go to the wedding by himself, Blaze has the opportunity to warn Ginger. She still acts like a friend toward Ginger. I like the way Blaze butters Luke up, telling him how brave he is. judi

Thanks so much, Judi. Blaze is still learning how to manipulate Luke, and she's stumbling, but she'll get better. Luke fights back, but he doesn't have enough brainpower to do much against someone like Ginger, who would be my hero if I were Blaze. She's new at this, remember, whereas Ginger did it for millenia and could handle Luke well. UNTIL she left him and then things changed. He's still out to get her. Just too stupid to know it's over.

You're welcome. I'm dying to see whether he can actually sabotage the wedding. judi

Okay, you have this in the little description by the title, and it's making me grind me teeth. LOL

"And let's him think he won."

Need to change "let's" to "lets". :)

Anyway. Clever little story you've got going here. Poor Lucifer. Fake muscles and a nitwit brain. LOL Love it. Nice work!

Oh my goodness! Eeeeek! I don't know how to thank you for finding that! Don't believe I typed it that way. How embarrassing. LOL! Thanks a million for pointing it out to me...fixed it already. Thanks for reading, too. But I owe you a vote for saving the day with that find. :)

"Spray-on bandage? smile. And Satan brought down mankind but can't get a little old camera to work in church. Sounds like he's slipping. LOL I love this book and glad to read this characters again. Great job, my dear.

Thank you so much, amahra. I've never tried that liquid spray bandage myself, but I really should, for research. LOL! :)

I'm sure Lucifer is going to do everything he can to stop the wedding, which at this point doesn't appear to be too much. However, it makes me wonder what direction the story might go without the Ginger and Luke conflicts. Great job of keeping us guessing. Now, hurry up with the next chapter. :-)

Thank you so much, Ric. I can't post as often now, with permanent "company" coming on the 11th. Still preparing. :)

Not having time to post as often will just make us readers more anxious to read your stories. :-)

Now what is Blaze up too? One thing is evident. She makes a better friend than employee. LOL If this keeps up Father Murphy and Fran will have another convert before the end of the book. I like Blaze already! Good Job. Nancy

Thanks, again. Yes, Blaze isn't all evil by any means. She has a strong sense of justice and fairness, but is not redeemable. She'll do some "good" things on Earth that will be controversial for sure. :)

Well Luke is up to his old mischief. He has figured everything out. Blaisé phones Tara/Ginger to foul his plans so he will have to contend with the good father and Frammy. Gary will see what he nave have to contend with and that might not be good.

Thanks so much, Alan. Blaze wants no part of his scheme, not when her friend is the target. :)

Oh, Phyllis, your creativity knows no bounds. I'm loving the paragraph about the strides Hell has made so they can go into a church.

His horns gave off a puff of smoke as his eyes burned into hers. You're adding some new description of Luke - cool.

LOL - great middle section where he's counting. He's such a child, hee hee.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Your cheek must be sore from your tongue rubbing against it. I hope you pick up new readers because they're in for a treat, although we know which side of the FS home page gets the most views (poetry).

Big Cyber Hug For You,
Lou

    Lou, Lou, Lou,
    How can I thank
    you, you, you
for the terrific sixer and great comments! You're right... books get fewer readers and build up more slowly. I think next year I'll just do short pieces instead of novels... variety is fun. :)

This line is genius. Ha --"One capsule will allow us to breathe the holy atmosphere for up to sixteen hours." You are just too clever, Ms. Phyllis. Your dialogue reads like I'm hearing actual conversation. Love the pump-up suit and interrogation booths (confessionals). Such a clever comparison, but oh, so true. Ha. great transition at the end to keep me excited about what she says to Ginger. Great chapter

Thanks so much. I really appreciate your following this book series. This is the last one, so it may go to 200,000 words and above, since I'll miss the characters...even, or especially, Luke. What have I become? LOL! :)

Don't get too comfortable with these guys. I don't think that's where you want to hang out for eternity.

Oh, no. I never meant THAT! LOL! Just for fun in a fantasy way. I'm sure the actual Hell and Satan are nothing like my portrayal. LOL!

It sure felt that way when I was a kid and the nuns lined us up every Friday to go to confession (interrogation booth) before we left for the weekend. Ha
reply by the author on 30-Sep-2014
Oh, my! You went to a Catholic school! I was just a steady church goer, and I hated Saturday confession. It's hard on kids especially, I think, making them feel sinful and "bad" like that. Of course, now that old tradition is gone, but I don't know if our new more 'progressive' society is any better. Seems to be going too far in the opposite direction.
reply by gypsycaravan on 30-Sep-2014
You're right about that. So glad I progressed to the good and loving God, though, from the one that stood over me threatening. We can thank John Paul XXIII for that ecumenical movement. Pope Francis seems to be a winner, too.

Love the pumped up robo suit! I've said it before, but your humor is at its best with Luke. It'll be interesting to see whose body he inhabits to attend the wedding. Great chapter.

Thanks again. Glad you enjoy Luke... I have fun with him, and I will surely miss the big oaf when this final book of the series ends.
