Your poetry seems to leave me feeling like I caught the gist of it but may be guessing the major thrust.

Here the persona leaves home [kisses wife goodbye?]
goes to town, where he has a beer, steak and his lover.

Somehow, as the night wears on he flattens the pimp that rules his daughter and takes her home.

The "once more" at the end is what gives the poem its essence. It's what keeps me trying again to crack the nut of a Walter L Jones poem.

Wow this is intense. I like your poem. It is gritty, cutting and poignant in its message. I would only add an 's' to the word "princess." Other than that, your poem is to the point and tells a story well. Good job!

Interesting poem. I am guessing it is about a man who seeks and finds his daughter, who has been selling her body for money? I could be reading it wrong but good use of colors, and imagery.
