The trouble is that once would never be enough and you would want the person back again and again, and each time it would be so unbearably sad knowing they were going to leave that I dont think it would be possible to get through agaim. But how, like you, I wish for that very thing!

Many times we fear to tell someone how we feel about them, fearing rejection, but often the other person fears rejection and if we will express how we feel, it could awaken in someone their own dreams of love. nicely written and good message.

Thank you for your thoughtful review...and I believe you are right about that. Sometimes we fear and the other feels the same, so sometimes it is better to have loved than not at all regardless of the circumstance. I do usually speak my feels as to have no regrets, just in case ;)

I expressed my intrest in my hubby the first day we met, in actions more than words and he later told me he was longing to meet a girl like me. We were married within 5 months of out meeting and were married fr over 36 years when he passed, He was the wind beneath my wings all those years.

What a wonderful love story and so sorry for your loss...you both are 2 of the lucky ones to have had a love like that. What a comfort that must be to you over and over again.

The memories I have of our lives together are many times are what has kept me going in the lonely hours of the 19 years.
