I hate it...because I didn't write it! Really, it's beautiful. This form lends itself so perfectly to sorrow and wistful contemplation. Great job! Favorite lines:

Around this place the air hangs pure and still;
no breath of wind disturbs the brooding pines.

Excellent poem and descriptions.

ABAB Contest entry "At the Cemetery" What a lovely poem you have created here. Some things are sometimes so good, it could even win contests. Well done.

Well done here mate. Yep I loved how you used the ABAB format here. Your choice of lingo also packed a good punch here too. Good job !

'At the Cemetery' is an extremely well-written and heart-wrenching piece. To lose the love of your life must be truly unbearable. This talented poet's work was a privilege to both read and review.

Very well done, the rhyming seems unforced, the poem flows, it is easy to read and the message is well worth heeding in our lives. Good luck in the contest.

The photo complements your poem extremely well. Your poem describes what see on the picture. It rhymes very well and flows well. Original contest entry.

Fantastically executed. Your quatrains flow smoothly of memories, and of those who've gone. The rhyming is superb. A great contest entry. Les

Due to Hollywood, Cemeteries have earned a bad rap. This is very well written written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.
