Nice poem. Its neat to write quick in a quick thinking type of mode. I think you may have been inspired by the lord in the last few seconds to do this and he just took your hand

I'd walked alone in life before
Sad and unsure
He saw my soul...
He made me whole .. Oh, I know just what you mean!

Beautifully crafted, Sandra. Not sure of the rules of the minute poem, but this one shines bright in my eyes.

Hugs and kisses,
xxx

Sandra, what a lovely declaration of faith in God.
I like the picture you found to go with your poem.
Great job on this minute poem. God does indeed
walk with us during our trials.

Simple and beautiful. I've no idea if you've got it right but I love the way it sounds! Especially the last two lines. I think this describes Saeed's encounter with Jesus when He asked him to turn away from Islam and follow Him.

Yes, the Minute form is fine, with perhaps the tiniest glitch in the meter in line 10.

The poem is a gentle and reassuring one of Christian faith with each short stanza echoing the presence of God in our lives.

Good luck.

Steve

This is a lovely faith filled message couched in a succinct and effective format. It reminds me of that Christian poem/poster that's been around for decades. It shows Jesus walking in the sand alongside a person who is clearly seeking. Her it's teh dunes of happiness, but i is still that idea of a friend leading and consoling. Your final verse is stunning. It says it all about faith, redemption and the power of Christ's love.

I loved that poem. The first time I read that poem, 'Footsteps in the Sand,' was when a good friend put it into a card she sent me after my first husband died nearly 30 years ago. The comfort that brought me was immense. To put my poem in the same sentence is such a compliment, thank you so very much! :) Sandra

I am not a very spiritual person so the stars are for the exceptional crafting of your work. I see nothing that varies from the contest rules. Your message flow easily from the page. Good luck.
