Hi Brooke, what a wonderful uplifting poem, great alliteration, beautiful rhyming and rhythm and fantastic flow, and wow, those wonderful beautiful pictures of Sawyer raise it up another level, it made me smile.

Great photo's again and then a rhyming poem, AABB rhyme. You don't do that often but it makes a nice change. He has a nice bath tub:)

Dear Brooke,
This must be a really joyful time in your life, being able to see and absorb life anew through your grandson. I mean that in the most profound way I can. Each poem in this vein leaps with joy and innocence. Lovely poem--Ted

Oh, Brooke, I can always count on you to delight me with a happy poem. It's uncanny how you continue to weave impeccable poems from little things we enjoy in life, and do it with such originality and whimsy. Hugs, Lou

It's an achievement to raise a happy child. Joy is something that blooms from within, but the germ has to be nourrished. Lots of love being generated in that little corner of the world. Loads of smiles! "If joy is measured by the smile, this task will take a long, long while." Play on, Brooke.

A beautiful new slant on "count your blessings." Another excellent piece of writing by this author. Sounds like this method by be more fun than just counting your blessings however:)

Hi. Good morning and a sunny smiley on it is. I love the picture, he was younger. I remember my nieces at a young age, when their smiles were infectious and when the simple wonder of a dragon fly brought out delight.
Thank you for giving me that memory.

Sawyer's smile is infectious. And I am sure he finds million reasons to smile. Unlike the adults. From the crawling ants and speeding cars to beating drums and dancing feet everything is sheer happiness for them .Lovely lines as usual.

thank you so much, Sanku - it's such a shame that someday little children have to deal with adult concerns
