You are so right. Every life affects another somehow or other, in one aspect or another. That includes the misfortunes of failure and suffering. This is an excellent contest entry. Best of luck to you.

Very powerful and thought provoking. I had to sit for a time before I could respond. True words and emotions flow from the page. The pic adds to the impact. Thank you for your powerful words. You rock!

This is a really, realistic poem for mankind. There is so much suffering in this world, and so little kindness and love to go around. Children are the one's who end up suffering even more then the adults. How sad, but true. You have hit the nail on the head with this poem. Well written and best wished in the contest.

So beautifully put. We do need to listen!
Such a sensitive, often dangerous subject.
Many times, we feel helpless.
It touches everyone, in all walks of life.
It looks different each time.
This is a terrific piece. The photo is so compelling.
Your words match that intensity.

Free verse poem telling many of the ways people and families suffer, thus the world continues to endure suffering, through the domino effect.
Tragic examples, from relatively minor loss in football, to death and disease.
Excellent.

The Christian church officials (priests and parsons) have given a whole new meaning to "suffer little children unto me" and the Roman Catholics in particular a sadly funny new meaning to collaring a priest.

Wow! Very good verbal picture what we as humans do to each other. I haven't written a poem simmilar years back about "who's to blame" for the poor education of our American kids. Than I went on as you did. Everyone is from the janitor to the parents. Yet, no ONE is to blame. Your writing reminded me of this poem. You should do well on this contest.
