This is such a stark, and so true, condemnation of what humans are far too capable of doing to each other and themselves. We create so much suffering in so many ways.

So many reSons, so many heartaches, and it never seems to stop.
A curse on the human race woven by its own hands.
Formidable image and realistic approach to a human disease.
Best wishes,

Wonderful entry, it shows that every hurt does not accompany pain, one may take being hurt from so many directions, every hurt has the same pain.

I think that the subject of this poem is a very important one, and I also think you expressed it quite well. However, I would suggest maybe just a few minor structure changes in the first three lines. perhaps something like

"we don't want to sit and listen
but they need to tell us;
both parties suffer"

overall I think you wrote a great poem! thanks for sharing!

Carlylrkn5: I wonder if you have read this site's policy on rating someones work. A three means that the piece needs many serious changes to be decent; a rewrite. My first two lines have nothing wrong with them, just might not be how you would write them and the poem does not need a rewrite. You must be new around here. Please read the policies and act accordingly.

You are so right here on this. We need to allow this people to have the time to have their stories aired. We need to give them that chance.

Human suffering hurts the God who created humans to be perfect and happy individuals the most. A once perfect and happy angel allowd himself to become overwhelmed with jealousy and so he turned himself into a rebellous resistor of God's way and so he introduced the spirit of rebellion to the human family and man has known human suffering every since.

Truly, Suffering usually includes an avalanche of people.
This is a very well written piece on the human condition. I especially that the following stanza was significant.

human suffering
domino effect
worldwide, everywhere
one person begins chain of events

Well done

WOW! This one shook me up. No verbiage here, every word counts.
You hit several human suffering points and did well with each. Those of us who don't suffer sometimes forget how tough life can be.
Good job.

Hi the author,

Suffering is a universal affliction, and as your poem so rightly says, injury is not always confined to the injured only. The impact is always far wider.

Nicely stated, good luck.

we all gather, gather our ceremony. we all suffer, suffer to a ceremony. the ceremony of suffering is the ceremony of pain. no matter how much we suffer our ceremony is our prize, prize of enjoyment. your poem was a influence on life and it read with verses that was invincible. i enjoyed n reading your poem. thanks for the read.
