What a totally cool all American family. My boring family was just crazy and not the least bit innovative or interesting. My mom once ran screaming down the street with a giant stuffed teddy bear, but that was it. Nothing else entertaining my whole childhood. Loved this. Wish I was there. At my age peeing my pants is 50/50 without the fear factor! mikey

Hi Dean
So the entire family are just as spooky ...... hehehehheeheh!
What fun and what an attraction you all must have been. Loved the way you related the experience of your day and the fun had by all ... I have a girlfriend who has never lived down just such an experience as Connie...... and she was fourteen at the time. To her ... still the horror moment of her life ... just the stockings were grey.
Talented and highly creative .... the party must have been a blast. What a cute uncle and aunt to come up with such entertainment.... for a minute there I thought that was your usual dress code. Chuckling all the way back to the coffin. Well done. Hugs - Lovi xoxox

Drat! Drat! I am out of 6s and this most definitely should get one. Great work with this. I enjoyed it immensely and I am having my 69th birthday December 23 and if you don't have any plans, and can pay your your own way, I'd love a personal appearance at my birthday party. Great work with this one.

Ha-ha, I'll see what I can do, Smurphgirlsasha.
I'm on a kick lately of telling true family stories. Some old, and some new. I really appreciate you reading this one, and no sixes are ever necessary, my friend, although they are nice to receive. I'm just glad that you were entertained.
Thanks so much again!

I already have, Brooke, on the behalf of scores of others. I will be sure to include your condolences in the mix, LOL.
Thanks for weighing in on this one, and for catching that error. I really appreciate it. :}

Great stuff, Dean! You rule, dude! Your writing, the music, and the pictures gelled nicely. I might put that tune on my cell - that or the theme from The Exorcysts.
The dialogue was top-notch.
And Pleasant Screams to you!

on the fisrst [first]day of boot camp
"Teletubbies are freaky as hell, dude," Tommy chimed in. - (Introduce 'Tommy' to the reader - "Teletubbies are freaky as hell, dude," (my son's friend, Tommy chimed in.)
Wow - parties at your house must be memorable, to say the least.
This is a nice light-hearted look at terrorizing the neighbourhood kids. Good dialogue and character building throughout. I sure don't want to go to your place on Halloween.

Ha ha, no, you sure don't, Rose. We have a real barn burner coming up for this Halloween. It ought to be a lot of fun.
Thanks so much for your thoughtful review and suggestions.

Okay, I think your wife sounds like a real card. I got a particular chuckle on the dialogue between you two and the way you kept hoping they'd have the bejeesus scared out of them. I see why your niece wanted 'Uncle Deano' to provide the scary entertainment. This was just so fun to read, my friend. :) Bev

I totally enjoyed it, Dean. I'm always impressed with your storytelling ability. :)
Hey, our mutual friend signed a book deal last week. You've probably already heard. I'm so happy for him.

Bob? Yes, I heard, he sent me an email about it. he certainly deserves it. :}

Yes. I suggested he post something about it on the site. Lots of folks will be happy for him. But he's a modest guy and may not want to do that. :)

OMG! Dean, that poor girl! LOL, you got your wish, how did your sister-in-law take it? Has she lost an otherwise, best friend? You must be a 'scream' to be around, (forgive the pun!) I enjoyed coming to the party, it was better than some I went to when I was a teenager! :) Sandra xsx

Thanks, Sandra.
My wife's niece's friend was not aware that anyone saw her pee her pants, but my son and I did. We laughed until we cried, not so much that she did it, but because she was act so tough before coming into the tent. The badder they are, the better they pee, I suppose, LOL.
