Hi Brooke. What a beautiful piece of poetry this is, so descriptive. Your use of alliteration is perfect and very effective. The artwork is very apt too.

a dark and dismal day. But clever thinking for the tides to reassure you that the moon is still around. Well penned and great rhyming

Hi Brooke,

Well, I got my interpretation wrong on your last one, so let's see if I come close to your meaning.

I think this can be speaking to how important it is for us to have faith. Just because we don't see God, doesn't mean He has abandoned us during difficult times.

Hugs,
Lou

Lovely, Brooke! Faith in things we cannot see. Not always easy, but an absolute requirement in today's world. It can get pretty heavy out there. Loved your choice of artwork, too. Summer's end always makes me sigh!

An interesting and well written series of quatrains.
It is so encouraging to realise the reassurance that can
be gained simply by reading the signs that nature sends
I like the imagery within the words and how the scene was set to provide peace and reassurance that all is well.

Hi Brooke, this is another delightful poem i have enjoyed reading, I love poems about the Sun and the Moon. It is true that they may not always be visible to us but we know they are there and we can depend on them

Well written

The small ballad resonates with faith, the tireless metaphor, light. This one caused me to think of the ocean at Jax Beach. Kenny
