An excellent verse describing the fog and the assurance of the tides that keep rolling in.
Very fine rhythm and rhyming lines.
There are some that doubt when trouble and sorrow cast shadows on the soul...this verse is one of encouragement.

Diane, thank you so much, my friend. I am particularly proud of this poem, so I'm thrilled you like it enough to honor it with a sixth star :-) Brooke

I love this one Brooke. Maybe because it is about the moon and ocean tides. The imagery is so vivid I was seeing what you saw as you were writing and the picture and presentation... so
beautiful I just had to award the poem a six. Well done! Nancy

Those things well feel; like the the wind, or divine intervention on our behalf, but cannot see, are no less less real than those we can see with our eyes. They make their presence known through other diverse methods, but they are still there, nonetheless.
A wonderfully uplifting poem to start off a dreary Tuesday morning.
Well done, Brooke!

I really didn't know what to do if look
at Sawyer or read your poem, they are both
a pleasure.
We know there are many things that we don't
but we know they are there, like the sun and
the moon when they hide behind the clouds.
Lovely poem dear Brooke.

Your writing is so awesome, always so full of strong emotions. I loved how this felt to my soul, Brooke. I love the thought when dark looms about, to think of the ebb of the tides setting aside all doubt. Blessings

This is a very tranquil poem at the end. It was like knowing things are not always able to be controlled but taking comfort in the guarantees in life.

Brooke: the rhythm of your poetry is so calming to me. It feels like slowing rocking a baby to sleep . . . with a smile on his/her face. Lovely piece and picture. Linda

Great point about all that's being orchestrated behind the scenes or hovering beneath our level of awareness. Frankly, I'm glad I can't see everything or I'd be paralyzed with fear.

Fabulous quatrains , expressing one of those days and nights , no moon
no sun , but nature keeps given the signals of their close presence behind the fog. Such wonderful imagery !!! Pili
