What can one say when each writing
is encapsulated in star dust that is
sprinkled down the screen in poetic
and artistic fashion beyond compare.
Well done

This is a very interesting and beautiful poem that the author has created with this piece of work. It brings home the fact that the moon is so important to us, even when we can't see it. It can still exert its influence on us and the world around us.

When you consider all the wonders of Nature you have to stop and marvel at its miraculous beauty. You have created lovely images of its effects on the everyday world around us. Good use of metaphorical and descriptive language, excellent rhyming. Most enjoyable as always. Faye

VERY clever and fun 1st stanza, Brooke.
Your poetic ability in rhyme, meter and occasional alliteration, plus top enjambment, shines throughout.
I can't see my hundreds of real loving friends, bank account full of cash and beautiful supportive girlfriend, but I'm sure they're there. ;-)
Cheers, Ray xx
Excellent

LOL, Brooke - you're on my list. Coincidentally, I bought some lottery tickets today, for the 1st time in ages. The Jackpot is £60million, so if you don't hear from me again, it means I've won and died of shock, clutching my ticket. :-) xx

What a wonderful affirmation of knowing the way of things by inference rather than direct observation. Beautifully constructed abcb rhyme. I like this, Brooke. :) Nancy

this is an excellent write, brooke, great imagery proving the way we don't have to see things to know that they are there. Faith is the basis of truth and Truth is God.

Another inspirational poem, Brooke - I hope that your book of these types of motivational poems are all together and ready for that book I keep ranting about.
The use of Common Verse in Ballad form is perfect for a song too. Many, many of the world's most loved songs lyrics are written in this tempo.
The message is about the surety of things in our world, and is also a perfect message of faith for those who question whether there is a God. Just because you can't see Him, does not mean the He does not exist.

Can't remember a line to quote, but this makes my mind see
the same colors as somethings by Emily Dickinson and Saul of Tarsus. I guess that's poetry. Excellent.

I agree... her painting is absolutely gorgeous! Did it inspire the poem?
Terrific poem, as usual. I don't need to point out the alliteration in 'buds burst into bloom' or the perfect meter, since you know it's all there. But I will say that I love how you put science lessons into your children's poetry so they never realize it's edjewkayshunnel. :)

Phyllis, thank you :-) Nope, in this case I wrote first then went in search of the perfect artwork, and I found it :-) Brooke
