Hi Brooke,

I really like this a lot. I saw the lighthouse and it called to me. Love them. The first two lines are awesome.

If I were rich, I'd remodel an old lighthouse and live in it. But, since I'm not monetarily rich, I shall keep the home I have! (*<*)

Cheers & Blessings

Jax, thank you so much:-) I love lighthouses too - when I lived in New England we always vacationed in Maine and made the rounds of lighthouses, and my favorite park in New Haven, where I lived, was Lighthouse Point. Brooke

Hi Brooke, this seems to be an excellent rispetto! I like the flow of this one and it's very dramatic too with the storm at sea. The art is beautiful and your formatting matches the picture well. Another great poem from you! Best wishes, Pete :)

Again another great poem. I like the personification of storm having a soul and the thought that the starfish prayed. Good alliteration with came crashing and starfish sighed.

Wow, Brooke, this is in a bit of a different mode for you, isn't it? Even though it's nature's violence, I'm not used to seeing the absence of symmetry in the theme of your poetry.

May I still say this is a refreshing departure?

Oh, Poor little starfish. No Match for the mighty storm roaring until it was satisfied it was freed of all it's pent up tensions. LOL Well done rispetto Brooke. Nice picture.

I don't remember you doing a rispetto in quite some time. This uses very powerful action verbs and paints a vivid picture in the reader's mind. Have a great week, my friend~Debbie

Dear Brooke, you did a very nice job with this respetto . Your poem addresses the surface of the storm and also, how it affects the lowly sea horse. Great job on this one--Ted

Ted, thank you so much. Jimi just expressed concern to me because there have been no Maureen updates for a few days. Do you know if she is OK? Brooke

Hi. Oh a sad wee one, though full of the power of the great ocean. I liked the rhyme skeme for this...like waves bash and breath, bash and breath...then bash bash...and recede recede.
Ok, so I am a little fanciful today, but that is what I first felt, silly or not...padumachitta

Very well done. I can just picture those star fish being swept away by waves. This rispetto is well rhymed and has an even word flow. I liked the ending.
