Sandra - This is a wonderful entry for the Love Poem contest. You have written this with such truth, but without too much sentimentality. Very moving in a down to earth manner that I find very appealing. Of course, loving again cannot be wrong. We cannot stop ourselves from loving, like turning off a tap. Yet, it is the first love that occupies this space. And you've done Brian proud. I loved this happiness transition, tinged with a little self-doubt, given your love fro Brian:

Beautiful, beautiful, I just love it. You have written this in such well chosen words to express the love you had for you first husband who passed on. He would be happy for you to find love, because it does not mean you have fallen out of love with him. We can love more than one, each love is different.
