Nice visualization of emotion by the simple holding a the hand, which can say far more than words can convey sometimes.

Short and simple acrostic with a heart warming story about what joy is to the poet. Great job in writing this for the prompt. Joy is an emotion that the world needs.

My definition of poetry rules this one (and many of this genre on FS) out.

Excellent poetry paints a thousand pictures.

Excellent prose is excellent words in excellent order.
Excellent poetry is the best words in the best order.

But on Fan Story, the subject 'poem' is excellent.

How lovely and pure. You described JOY very well and effectively. It is pretty and the last line "your hand in mine" puts it all in perspectve. This is a very nice poem.

Sometimes emotions are complicated and at other times simple. This poem paints a picture of Joy but to me also simple contentment.

This is a great very short and simple of what joy means to you. Although many things can bring joy, still the joy of another person is priceless.

Very short sweet simple and romantic words, zanya. Often, less is more - as here.
