The world needs more hearts of stone to be melted to maybe stop the evil and cruelty which is rampant. We must have faith that through Him all things are possible. Excellent rhyming and imagery to convey your message. Enjoyable read. Faye

Though I'm a fence-sitter on religion, Roy, there's no doubt in my mind that Jesus was a WONDERFUL man, and it's a shame many people over the centuries have abused, killed and lied for gain, in His name.

Excellent rhyme and meter in this top tribute to Him, and such a strong statement of your wonderful Faith.

Best wishes, Ray.

This is absolutely wonderful Roy. What a beautiful poem of faith. Perfect for this quiet Sunday morning. I was thinking 'if' you change 'Creation's warmed when sun breaks [bright] that would add alliteration and speak of the brilliance of our Saviors love. Well done. Blessings, Nancy

"It moves and shakes the mountain's peak, His light reveals the path you seek." - These two lines absolutely convey the essence of faith for me. This is a wonderfully penned piece which inspires such tranquility in the reading. Nicely done and I thank you so much for sharing this with me.

I am forever astounded by the many ways you keep delivering Christ's message in poetic form, and yet your poems still remain as fresh as the first one I read. I think it's because you are extolling Jesus' name and revelling in the love of God, not berating people for not believing or for their dreadful sinfulness. I think words like:
His love can melt a stony heart,
His word can make the storm clouds part,
It moves and shakes the mountain's peak,
His light reveals the path you seek. ...invite, show, convert hard hearts. He says he loves us and that we are saved by his blood; you say that too. God Bless.

Thank you for the encouraging remarks, Mark, I needed to hear that today, the pastor preached on stony hearts and unity today. I was going a different one, this was my second choice, I'm glad God still guides even when I'm not conscious of it, blessings, Roy.

He is our only hope in the darkness that has enveloped the whole world. Many are walking away in disbelief, it is hard to comprehend the unholy goings on and now, 600 of our troops are heading for Iraq - we try to smile but it is not possible - war clouds gather. Most ask "God? Why isn't He doing anything?" We have created the greed, war, mental attitude and now, time to pay the Piper. Your poem is sweet and I wish He would come soon.
