This poem has an excellent cadence in its thoughts and phrases. I really don't care much for religious poetry, but you have an excellent rhythm in this poem and you put it together really well. I see this as a five star piece of poetic art all the way... John

A sonnet about our Savior, created in beautiful rhymes and strong imagery.
I love the melt a stony heart and make the storm clouds part.
These are powerful to me. They make His ministry real.

Such a wonderful message of faith and the gospel in poetic form. I really enjoyed that you put the scriptures in your author's notes beneath. I would suggest that you state which version you have used for each of those.
Only one line did not make sense to me in light of scripture: "To be conjoined like heaven's twins,". Could you explain this, please?

As far as I am concerned, this is your best one! My favorite line is: This Jesus died upon that tree, By love we join, by faith agree. I under exaggerated. I also love the last two. Awesome in truth and great rhyme and color.

Roy, this is a beautiful sonnet. I got goose bumps as I read it. What a wonderful testament to faith and love.
Excellent rhymes as well in these lines of 8 feet which adhere well to iambic meter.

The rhyme scheme was very good and without force or strain it accented the theme of the poem nicely. The meter form made for an easily read poem. I enjoyed it message and its presentation.
