I love the rhythm of this... and this line especially is very appealing: And, should we trek towards ghostly gloom, where ghastly nomad demons loom,

Nice use of alliteration, too. Really a good poem, aside from the icky subject matter. But I do like the photo of me you added at the bottom. I look so much thinner. :)

    Ha ha, thanks, Phyllis. You never fail to brighten up an otherwise dull and dreary day for me. Whether it's a lively debate on a topic we both disagree on, amicably, of course, or a highly entertaining review like the one you've given me here, I truly do appreciate and respect your opinions.

    Almost got my manuscript edited for publication, then I will be back to FanStory once agin in full force!

    Thanks a bunch, Phyllis :}

This is yet another dark and brooding tale of death and corpses that the author has created with this piece of work. I am always taken in by your writing.

There you'll wander, evermore, entombed within the bowels of lore.
Is that what happened to you Dean? And now you are warning everyone off or they will suffer the same fate. LOL Be careful of our choices, things are not always as they seem. Well done and scary. Kinda like the "Hotel California."
Great alliteration> mired minions moan, Luna looms,feral friend or foe, feeble, fickle fates, and more!... Wow it's just full of it! Well done my friend. Nancy

A very well crafted tale. Writing a coherent tale with internal rhymes for each line, and not sounding forced is a difficult task. That you've done it, speaks to your skill. As always your presentation is excellent as well.

Great choice of words that give a powerfully dark message. Excellent use of alliteration and internal rhymes.
Stunning presentation and good use of enjambment.

"Darkness hides few lucid things, mired minions moan, lone angel sings;" - Thank goodness there is always at least one joyful voice in the daily crowd of screams. This is wonderfully written and filled with such haunting imagery that the artwork becomes unnecessary. Nicely done and I thank you so much for sharing this with me.
