A very beautiful and colorful poem about the fall.
Your poem makes fall sound nice and its something
to enjoy. Keep up the good work.

It is so fitting to remember September 11th, with a poem about Autumn - Not only because that season is so near, but because that is the day that our summer of innocence was lost. This is such a kind tribute to those who lost their lives, and to their families whose lives will never be the same.
Rose.

Autumn's majesty holds some memories for me, both of horror and of love. There are so many symbolic emotions during this season. Without a doubt, it represents that twilight time between hope and acceptance for me personally.

A beautiful analysis of the glories of Autumn. Good use of metaphorical and descriptive language to express your thoughts. The images are splendid. True, the world will never be the same again. Enjoyable read. Faye

Beautifully written Brooke, your talent for bringing the reader to the physical and emotional place is phenomenal. Indeed it can never be forgotten the horrific disaster of 9,11 It was very different to write a poem of the minutes before. a most creative write.

Well done
Mary

What a beautiful tribute to 9/11 and to Autumn. Autumn indeed is breathtaking for such a short time, making us so grateful for being alive. I just loved this, Brooke. Blessings

Absolutely exquisite. These are my favorite lines, among a perfect poem.
How do you manage so many terrific gems. Excellent.

Though Autumn wears stark robes of death,
before her garb turns brown and bare,
there is that spell that steals our breath
when she wears garlands in her hair.

Ah, you are indeed magical when
you put pen to paper and in
mundane black and white you
conjure up images that that
suddenly turn the screen into
a million hues of colors, turn
the coming cold into warmth
that will last the winter.
Well done

Good rhyming verse. Smooth and relaxing.
FOR ONE BRIEF SPELL SHE STOPS DEATH'S CLOCK
BUT TIME; SOON DEMANDS
SHE ROBE HERSELF IN WINDOW'S FLOCK
FOR ON ONE STOPS TIMES MORNING HANDS

I love it. I feel inspired and want to write another poem that elaborates on the whole theme.

Wonderful, heartening words.

Thank you for your poetry, again!
