Thank you for bringing yet more nature our way. The images you find are just as amazing as the words you put to them. This vacation they are on has definitely given you a lot of inspiration and I hope it keeps coming. :)

Excellent poem about the value of butterflies. They teach
patience, changing form, being colorful, providing a service, and movement. Flying, being mobile, discovering new territories to visit, and movement toward the top is very inspiring to all humans. Fantastic message. Thanks

I have a special thing about butterflies. I loved this poem. It had a great message in it. My favorite phrase is, "the caterpillar thought it was the end and it became a butterfly. This poem reminds me of that saying.

This is wonderful and I have to agree that butterflies do have the right idea about life which is why they bring such happiness to those who watch them. I had to chuckle at the notes where you give the syllable count for "realized" because I can totally relate to why you felt the need to do that. This was uplifting and refreshing and I thank you so much for sharing this with me.

Thanks so much, Mystic Angel - that is one of those words that some people say in two syllables and then when they review they'll tell me they stumbled over that line :-) Brooke

This is a lovely rhyme, reminding us that live move from one development to the next. Too bad the butterfly stage is their shortest time. It's like the move from egg to worm to cocoon, for a short time of beauty. Many metaphoric possibilities for butterflies.

Brooke, I really like the thoughts behind this.
We have to just trust that there's a brighter
future for us. We can learn lessons from God's
creatures. Good rhyming.

I did have to chuckle a bit when I read the part about 'crawling not being the last stage of our lives." Knowing what I know about diapers with both infants and elderly, crawling was a much better analogy!

This made me ponder, but it also made me laugh!
Thanks for sharing, Brooke!

Blessings,
Marsha

Hi Brooke,

If flutterbys could talk, it would likely be all about which flowers provide the best nectar - but then, why not? They can certainly fly to fantastic heights if reports by pilots are to be believed.

Hello Brooke,
Loved the reflective nature of this piece. Your insightful verse presents a wonderful vision of possibilities. So many people remain in their cocoons, thinking this is all life has to offer, when there is a new world awaiting their arrival. One must have the courage to evolve and spread their wings, which, in turn opens up so many new horizons.
Nice job with this thought...so simple and to the point.
Hope you have a great weekend, Bill
