Pleasant Screams? You're a bowl full of fun this evening!

Love: Earthen hole, my weak legs straddle, gasping out my last death rattle. I can see Peter Boyle groping in Young Frankenstein.

I like this a lot Dean, the music is a plus - I was praying it didn't jump to a volume 45 in the middle and take my last breath.

The rhyming on this is pretty terrific and it flowed nicely. At one point I thought he'd wake up in a college dorm, drunk as hell, with some coed's sweater covering his face. Anyway...like it. Jean

Holy cow, what amazing graphics. More importantly, your verbage was gripping. Excellent imagery and the flow was spot on. I truly enjoyed your graphics and more importantly, the effect of your words. Nicely done!

Dear Master of the Macabre,

A death rattle sounds but is it me? Yes, oh God let it not be. The candle flickers at my feet while my heart no longer beats. Demons come to my bed oh whoa is me I think I'm dead. Oh raven take pity and don't quote, "Never any more."

Warm regards,

Winslow

A very spooky write. I can see why you had to do a new one for the prompt. No humor here, just a blood curdling tale. Excellent graphics to add to the thrill of your presentation.

A wonderful poem, Dean, and so very eerie! Well done rhyming couplets.

Your words move with a great rhythmic pace, and your rhyming and meter are perfect! Of course, your accompanying artwork enhances your words very well.

I can give you nothing but a six! Thank you for sharing your immense talent. Take care. Alana

What a tour de force. This poem Gothic & reminiscent of Poe & Mary Shelley paints a picture in one's mind too realistic for the senses to bear. The artwork & background music made the lines resonate and the flesh creep. Nightmares beset men's minds a fill them with the dread of what is to come.

Sorry for the six, but I'm fresh out of tens. Poe couldn't have said it better. Poe and Stephen King together couldn't have said it better. Pardon me, I have to get back in my grave, the sun is coming up, and...
