I get the impression of a very uncomfortable wait, with 'farty furniture' and an impatient wife. Shades and Ess are still feeling their way around the anger - fighting for control. Well done, snod.

Not too much for me. I'm not at all a connoiseur of tea. I drink 'orange pekoe', which is probably unacceptable to someone with an English palette. But what do I know?

I really liked this story and found it very interesting. I enjoyed reading it and found it very easy to read. I can't wait to go back and read the earlier chapters so I can learn more about Mr and miss Davenport. Ess seems a little sneaky, I want to know more about her character also. Great story so far.
