A poem of just letting go at the end of the day, relaxing before drifting off to sleep - that's what it sounds like to me anyway. Very peaceful:)

Hi,
I enjoyed this one a lot. Self-exploration is challenging enough but figuring out what sorrows lie within someone else's shadows is downright taxing. I sighed...and then I got a divorce.

Beautifully written, Pili. A lovely free verse poem which deals with the pain, anguish and heartache one faces when losing someone they dearly love. Every day drags on...and on...and on, sometimes so long, one single day seems to last for an eternity. And all the while, we await the night to calm our seething souls and lull us with lullaby's sweet songs of sleep.

Wonderfully done, Pili, very good work.

Nice artwork to accompany this lovely, thoughtful, gentle poem. The end of the day is usually a time for reflection, and you portray that well. Pain, both physical and emotional is lost in sleep. Beautifully written, it is an easy read that made me think I should reflect more. Lovely.
