Hi Brooke, this is fantastic! Love the rolling rhythm of the anapest and iambic lines. It's perfect for a story poem. Your tale is adorable as well. Love the boy's name--kind of makes him seem like he has a long lineage of expectation and tradition to live up to. I really do want to eventually take a class on story poems with you. Very nicely done.

This one must be a story book, I can see it on the shelves of Barnes and Noble. Or at a reading in the 'library'. Wonderfully written Brooke, Harrison Harrington Smythson the Third just better stay home from now on.

I loved your "Harrison Harrington the third" poem Brooke! I wonder where he was planting his feet to be caught up in the "dinosaur land place" poor boy, I'll bet he's learnt his lesson! Magnificent poem you've written here, have you ever published kiddie's poems Brooke? I suppose you have! Written in 10-11 syllable lines in aabb rhyming, even meter, good stuff, blessings, Roy,

Now that was a night mare. J Park done in poetry. Poor little guy I bet he was glad to see he was in his won bed. Another good one Brooke. (.

I really liked your poem as a poetic story, I love this work because it is not easy to develop and even more difficult to do in a good way as you did in this paper. My congratulations, hugs from Chile

I enjoyed this so much, I hated to see it come to an end. What a terrific photo to go with this equally terrific story. I just love the name Harrison Harrington Smythson the Third and giggled at the wrong turn he made. What a fun, delightful, and exciting story this is. I will have to bookcase it so I can read it again, and again.

Hey, did I piss you off yesterday with my sarcastic remark? Hope not...I was just kidding.

Valerie, thank you so very much, my generous friend. Dear Lord, what in the world did you say to me that might have pissed me off. I don't even remember what it was. LOL Brooke :-)

he, he, he...I told you to go pester someone else. I can be obnoxiously silly sometimes and obviously insecure.

Good Lord, I remember that now - Obviously I didn't take it seriously, silly :-)

That was really great, Brooke. I love the name, Harrison Harrington Smythson the third, that is some upper-class name, LOL. I love the photo too, the way Sawyer is posing with his hand holding his head. The trepid traveller preferred to come home and sleep in his own bed. Excellent! :) Sandra xsx

I love this story poem with it's awesome rhyme and rhythm as it tells of an adventurous boy who has his own mind. Leaves me wondering what destiny holds for Harrison .
