Great opening lines for a spiritually uplifting declaration of faith. Interesting and effective use of varied syllable count that lengthens and builds as it goes--much as we should do with our lives and faith. Excellent title. It reminds me of the "still small voice" that we need to listen for. Amazing artwork to accompany your work. Very nice presentation.

Hi, I think this is a lovely poem, with a strong message, and which you execute with much passion. It moves along like a ship on the waves, with powerful imagery giving a sense of being there.
A curious last line.Rather like a conundrum. If you say, 'lost' he will find you, and if you say 'found' it means you must have been lost in the first place!
Very well written with good strong rhyming. Lol xxxxx

It's really a paradox, if you want to be found, you will, Jesus said, "they choose to live in darkness, because the light exposes their sin"! in Romans 3:23" " for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Christ made up the shortfall! Salvation is a gift, you either want or not, the choice is ours! Thanks for the great review, blessings, Roy.

Excellent poem of faith. I love the way the stanzas add line length each time, building to a crescendo.
There's just two gates << Should be "There ARE" but that ruins the syllable count, so I suggest WITH, like this:
With just two gates in your highways' choice,
Either found or lost, choose one, give voice.

Brilliant Phyllis, that's why you're a genius and I'm not! "To instead of in", thanks for the great review, I love reviewers like you! I helped somebody out tonight, with one line, making it near perfect, sometimes you can see for others but not one's self! Thanks again. Blessings, Roy.

Uplifting, inspiring, imaginative and thank you. I needed to hear that. It never ceases to amaze me how speaking of deity, Him, Christ, our Saviour, always, always, uplifts and gives peace.
Thank you for a lovely sweet, enduring, message.

'A whisper......' is an exceptionally well-written and spiritually-uplifting piece. This talented poet has with craft and style, described God's love of His flock. Never lose your faith in the Good Shepherd. It was a privilege to review a work of this standard.

What a well thought out spiritual poem, I wonder you categorize this under general poetry. i love the essence of this poem especially in the 4th stanza "But God will search, He loves your soul,
Your only hope, He'll make you whole,
For God condemned, Son sacrificed,
So He could touch, your heart entice."

"A whisper ..." This is an excellent poem you have created here, Roy. The lighthouse stands guard at night, as does God. Well done.

This was so inspiring, Roy.
Lovely rhyme, nice flow.
I loved the lines:
"But God will search, He loves your soul,
Your only hope, He'll make you whole,
For God condemned, Son sacrificed,
So He could touch, your heart entice. "
and the last lines were the clincher - calling us to choose and give voice to our faith.
Well done.
