I like how you wrote this from both sides. It makes each character more believable. Lots of good internal conversation. It reminds me of how different men and women really are. its a sad piece, well written.

I agree. I am only 43 years old and there were times that I feel I don't want to have sex with my husband. Sometimes, I was so horny that I asked him to come home immediately. This can be a serious problem.

One short scene that packs a wallop...every detail, every thought of each actor is a true portrait happening in many long-term marriages...just so sad that communication and truth by both might solve the impasse.

You created such a genuine voice of a marriage rolling down a steep hill without a net. The viewpoints and inner dialogue from each character delivers stunning insight into their pain, lust(or lack of it, from Jill's point of view) and confusion.

An interesting story. I liked the way that the characters both drift back to their first night together, but neither chooses to do anything about it with each other. I'm sure a very truthful scenario that is often played out in real life.
I saw nothing style or spelling-wise that jumped out and it flowed well. Thanks for sharing, Brent.

This is very sad and very true of a lot of relationships today. I am not sure what goes on in a marriage but something dies over time and you told it so well.
