I think that your poem is actually excellent. I enjoyed the read; however you've entered this poem in a 5 7 5 contest. Your poem does not meet the requirements of this three line form of poetry.

The first line should contain 5 syllables
Line two should contain 7 syllables
Line three (the final line) must have 5 syllables

thus, the name 5 7 5. I hope you find this information helpful.

My friend, this doesn't seem to be a 5-7-5 contest entry. However, as a regular poem I would rate it as a six star without a doubt, if I had one left to give you. This is perfect in every way. The flow is impeccable and the words are easy to read and understand. It is interesting and it held my attention very well. This poem is fantastic, my friend.
