A well written poem in homage to a loved one. I'm sure every grandparent the world over has such feelings about their grandchildren but are probably unable to express their feelings so eloquently.The happy smile of children is enough to brighten even the gloomiest of days.

I like the line like the sparkle in a dew drop. Wonderful use of metaphores. Wonderful use of description use in your poem. Wonderfully written poem to show how great she is.

My wife and I raised our grand daughter from the time she was about four months old. I still have vivid memories of getting her from her crib giving her a bottle of mile while I enjoyed my morning cup of coffee. She is now a gorgeous eighteen year old college freshman. I love her with my whole heart and would not trade her for the entire world. I can totally relate to your beautiful tribute to your grandchild.

Oh yes, you understand what's it's like to be blessed beyond measure, my two daughters have given me four between them, and I am so grateful for them all, my daughters were always my girls, now We are blessed beyond measure, thank you for sharing, and giving me such a great review, blessings, Roy.
