It is very easy to tell that your beautiful poem was written straight from the heart. Your granddaughter is very beautiful, indeed. Parenting was a wonderful chore, being blessed to be a grandparent is our reward. Thanks for sharing.

Ah the joys of grandparents. The little ones are much more pleasure after they reach the age of reason and can hold an interesting conversation. But they are fun before that as well.

In college poetry they told me to try to avoid the words "like" and "the" to make the poem have more power. The
"like " is understood and sometimes the "The" does not help. But I liked your poem....Poet Q

So nice to "meet" you. And what a splendid poem! I rarely get to see my grandchildren as they are spread all over the country ... from Tennessee to Missouri to California to South Carolina and Alabama. We have moved close to one of our grandchildren as we learned two months ago she has stage three cancer. She is 20 years old and simply beautiful.
Your poem brings back memories of when our grand kids were little tykes and full of love and innocence. And every word you said in your poem is so true of them. Very nice, indeed! And what a cutie she is!!! Best to you ...

First, you are very welcome for the R&R. It was truly my pleasure.
As far as our granddaughter, she is doing pretty good. She had her fourth chemo this past week. We remain confident that all will be well. So far, the doctors' reports have been very encouraging.
Thank you for the prayers ... we certainly appreciate them. And we wish you and yours blessings as well.
