Grandchildren are a wonderful thing. They certainly soften the heart and melt the anger that often fills the soul. Your poem is excellent in that encourages me to see the world through the eyes of a child. That is see the world in innocence and joy in every little thing.

This is one of those cases, Roy, where the ability and skill of a poet can express the love he/she feels for someone close in poetic hyperbole that brings pleasure to self, and joy to the reader, acquainted or not. Clearly a little cutie, your grandchild connects you to love and daily doses of happiness. Whatever else does a man need to sit down and pen a great poem chock-a-block with special imagery and an expresion gratitude in God's gift of life? Lovely!

I'm a person who loves to write about my loved ones, God created things for us, and grandchildren are a great out working of His love, GK's show the generational thing God has going! Thanks Mark great review, Roy.

Since I am a "love-giver" to small children, I can relate to the pure joy that flows from them. They teach me so much. As I grow older my eyesight is getting weak, but they are teaching me to see with my heart.
