Such a lovely romantic write.

i do think that in love, we do "hold each other's hearts".

And in doing that our souls are truly, "renewed".

Well done.

Hugs, d

How romantic and uplifting I love the imagery of the two holding each other's hearts and the dawn unveiling their faces. I can imagine the smiles as they look into each other's eyes. Excellent formatting, including the wonderful picture, to enhance your verse.

A lovely naani in 21 syllables. Your second line is a good use of metaphor ' We held each other's heart'. Very nice. An enjoyable read. Good Luck in the contest. Kind regards Dorothy

This is a very romantic and nice Naani. You say beautiful thoughts in less than 25 syllables. The artwork selections fits very well with your words.

A beautifully written succinct poem. It is amazing how such few words can have a powerful effect.

In the gold of dawn
We held each other's heart
Our faces now unveiled
Our souls renewed

Well done.

This is a Naani poem with 4 lines and syllables between 20-25. It followed the requirements. I liked the poem as well as the picture accompanying, depicting dawn--the sun in gold peeping in the Eastern horizon. I think, "In the gold of dawn..." is a beautiful expression" followed by "we held each other's heart...faces now unveiled Our souls renewed." This, to me is little weak. My creative thinking tells me that in the wee hours of dawn when one is entwined with a loved one, there is more to it--a sharper image stronger and more powerful. How about this: "We held each other's heart igniting the core of our Being. Or "of our existence..." Just a suggestion.

What a beautiful image:

We held each other's heart

Such lovely imagery! Your use of alliteration with held and heart make for a nice flow. Your accompanying artwork perfectly enhances your words. Thank you for sharing, LateBloomer. Alana
