Wow! How moving the story is as it is presented. I feel your pain and tears filled my eyes. It is the way you presented the story that made it so riveting and I feel you did a wonderful job. Moving closer to the chair, anticipating what to do and say, is all so real. I am very sorry for the loss of your mother. The picture of the empty chair is so fitting as is the last two lines of your story.
