I did miss the weekly picture of Sawyer, but the poem more than made up for it. It was a wonderful poem about how the world is magic if only we let it be. Great rhythm and the happy scene unfolds before the reader. Gretchen

Magic wizards all gone home - spent their gold on their cell phone. Grandpa and Grandma were wise in many ways, they wore Wellies and Grandma wore her stays.' This is marvelous. I enjoyed it so much. Excellent rhyme, and terrific rhythm too. This is a wonderful entry for this fun contest and I sincerely wish you all the best. We had almost no rain last year and the past week we have had at least 7-8 inches, possibly more. The streets have been like rivers and a few cars have floated by my window...obviously small cars but floated by all the same. I wish I had a camera to prove I am not exaggerating...lol

It has a little bit of everything for kids, the counting, the nice alliterative sounds of the creatures in the garden, fast pace and great rhymes. Your grandson will love this. Teaches them about the wonders Nature creates in the garden. Most enjoyable and good luck in the contest. Faye

I don't know if little Sawyer even remembers the rain, though he did get drenched for the ALS ice bucket challenge - cutest video ever LOL :-) Brooke
