When I first opened this I thought of like tattoo's and stuff. You did a great job with this though and I wish you all the best in the contest. :)

The acrostic lines are meaningful. The color scheme is very artistic and matches the theme. I like the rhyme is smooth and not forced.

I love the poem. I love the picture. I just started painting again. I love combining natures colors with objects invented by man. Painting gives me a sense of accomplishment. Great work.

Well this certainly stirs the canvas of the reader's eye, that's for sure, Mystery poet. Love the unique presentation of this, very vibrant color scheme. I also like the message it contains. The blank canvases of our imaginations can be as dark and bleak, or vibrantly brilliant, as we so choose, and the choice is completely up to each individual as to which direction they chose to go.
Well done, and good luck!

Perfect presentation. The picture is amazing and with the accompanied words is outstanding. Thank you for sharing this wonderful acrostic! Only suggestion: using the word 'canvas' twice takes away from the overall reading.

I love this I am an art teacher and would use this to inspire my kids when we paint,,,,would you mind if I book case it for that? It's lyrical and beautiful. And I'd love to see a colorful canvas from it
God bless

This is a big compliment on my poem, I would be delighted to think it is used in an art class, I myself am self taught. The artwork I was going to use would only identity me, and it is a blind contest.

I am self taught too. I got to be an art teacher by default...:o)

I am an artist and you have masterfully captured the real feeling when you are immersed in a project. Just moving the colors around and having a brush and some paint turn into a visual expression is so exciting. Great acrostic. Gretchen

Great image, I love the art work; but even without it the poem gets across the vibrancy of the colours and the emotion and connection to the work that fine art stirs in the viewer. Personally I find acrostic poetry really difficult, but you've created an excellent example. Good luck in the contest!
