Your poem makes me think of springtime in Alaska. It is a beautiful season when winter's grip can still be felt in the morning and evening. During the day the snow melts a little more. The days get longer then suddenly there is an explosion of green. I love your artwork.

Thank you, Bryan. Your comments sound like the spring I remember up in Washington. I have one brother in Alaska now and my older brother lived there for quite a while. He loved it. Do you get the chinook winds up there? We had those in Washington and you could walk outside with no coat and still snow on the ground. It was beautiful. :)MW

Great poem, Moon. I usually write 'Good poem' unless it's great. Almost superb. Great picture. And is that true about polar bears being black while in their dens? I didn't know that. If so, cool fact. Excellent flow. Kept me engaged.

Thank you, DB! I figure if it's dark in the den, how would you know if a polar bear is black or not, and I don't think I'd like to go in and find out? Anyway, if it's dark, wouldn't they look black, lol. Again, thank you!! :)MW

A beautifully composed poem! Many are the times that animals, birds and plants are caught out by the false promises of early Spring. You have chosen some lovely examples and brought them to life with your words.

What a beautiful picture, the face is almost hidden & if one just glanced they would miss it. This must the be the same in nature. Poem flows nicely & rhymes well. The message of newness & uncreatedness comes through well with nature simply happening.

I like the batle of the two seasons. In early spring here in the Outer Banks, it is just like that. Tiny buds will appear only to surrender to a Nor'easter. Great descriptions and the rhythm was perfect. Nicely done.

Thank you so much, Gretchen. I remember many pictures from last winter of flowers blooming and covered with snow. Wild! I live in California... hard to tell one season from another here except summer when we have all the fires. But I did live in Mass. for about 6 years and the seasons there get pretty wild. Especially thunder storms! lol. :)MW

Nature is personified in this poem which is concerned with her uncertainty during springs advent. The idea of Winter being on a fling is very effective. The rhyming scheme, flow and readebility of the poem are excellent so I can therfore offer no suggestion for improvement.A very memorable work.

That image is stunning! It's funny that you used that image and your poem is about spring! I love that you did that :).
The flow is just perfect and everything goes together like a perfect song.
And you right, nature never knows what spring may bring.
This is great

Amazingly beautiful artwork....what a beautiful creature of whom there are far too few. Love the descriptive writing, this sweet poem reads and flows well. Wonder why the leopard is called an ounce?

Thank you ever so much, Brit. If you search that question, "why is a snow leopard called an ounce?" you can find the answer. It's rather complicated and has to do with a combination of Latin and English, and maybe a little French thrown in there if I understood it correctly. lol. Again, thank you! :)MW
