MoonWillow,

I am a cat lover through and through. I believe that the Lynx is my favorite.

Very nicely written work. Perfectly arranged & formatted. Good flowing. Understandable. Vivid impressions and rich narration, all lines formatted very well.

Very enchanted atmosphere, non-judgmental, thought provoking, very enjoyable and thrilling.

Your feelings are very understandable and expressed through the poem.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

This is so true in our lives as well, we don't know what the future season lies ahead. But our seasons of winter, spring, fall and summer seem to be messed up too.

Dear MoonWillow
Your poem is beautifully written and presented. I like the rhythm and rhyme of this piece - perfect! The imagery is excellent and quite educational :) I like the repetition of "Nature never knows what spring will bring". I really enjoyed this read - thanks for sharing :) Christine (It's a virtual 6, as they've all gone)

I love the details you use to creatively picture how winter keeps subtly imposing itself back on spring for awhile at first. Especially liked this stanza:
"Then lilacs bud and bloom
and pansies wake,
when ice is still afloat
on Harper's Lake."
Excellent work. Beautifully written and presented.
Love, Jeanie

I've never heard of a snow leopard called an ounce. That sounds like a strange name for one. I can see how one would be well hidden in winter's snow. Your poem makes me think of spring days when the weather can't decide what it's going to be like. Cold and blustery one day and pleasantly warm and sunny the next.
The picture you chose to use is stunning.

MoonWillow;
Quite a very great imagery type of poetry that is so descriptive and eloquently expressive especially in the way you have related and expressed the season of spring and winter: "Then lilacs bud and bloom in pansies wake, when ice is still afloat on Harper's Lake."
Your imagination is very inventive and creative in writing this piece of poetry throughout your writing.
Your rhyming and rhythm was done very well in that short verses and neither of your rhyming was forced in or labored while you're rhythm flowed smoothly throughout your poem and where your rhyming helped with the rhythmic flow.
Thank you for sharing and posting this for everyone to read and may the sun always shine on your shoulders.

To Moonwillow,
So very true. the weather is so unpredictable that no one gets a chance to get used to the diverse weather climates or even possibly the o-zone is playing a part in it.
Regardless, it is leaving everone in a tail-spin as to what is going to happen next.

What a wonderful write, and I definitely understand the dilemma when spring arrives, yet winter isn't quite ready to leave. Havoc can be seen in many different ways. What an absolutely beautiful picture you chose of the snow leapard, and I'd never know about the ounce. I wouldn't want to come across a larger one. I enjoyed your stanza about the polar bears. A really great write and I enjoyed. . .Sharon
