Dean, you are truly a fortunate man. Not just to have such a wonderful person in your life, but the wisdom to appreciate her. There has been one lady for me that I believe has made a huge difference. Congratulations to you both.

You've scored some marks with Keresna after this one. What a great love poem. As always, a wonderful presentation. I especially liked the repetition of the first lines in each verse at the end.
I have a suggestion for you. In the second verse, your line, "Sure as the sun rose in the east", seems to refer to past tense of one single day. I'm thinking a lifetime of the sun coming up in the east, a surety. So, what do you think of this?
(Sure as a sunrise in the east,
I've savored life, enjoyed the feast,
I'd never hurt you in the least.
Sure as a sunrise in the east.)

Aw. What I tribute. This poem was beautifully written. It expressed all the major emotional points of marriage, with one universal truth. It ain't always easy, but it's more than worth it.
