This is so romantic. I'll bet your wife just loved it when you presented it to her. What wonderful artwork to compliment your verse. There is a beautiful flow to the meter and solid rhymes to enhance the message. It feels like a love poem in every way. Ah, now this is what poetry is meant to be. "Love" and " poem" are the perfect union.

Awww - this is such a loving poem to your wife, Dean. It makes my heart melt when I learn that love still lives and is treasured after twenty years. This year will be 35 for my darlin' and me.

Loved the use of mono-rhymes in the stanzas and the repeat of lines 1 and 4. Excellent skill.

Dean, what a beautiful and very poignant tribute proclaiming your love and devotion for your wife.

I like how this is written using the 1st and 4th line of each stanza to compliment your words in lines 2 and 3. Your rhyme scheme creates a wonderful flow and easy read.

A soul mate story for sure. You're the exception to the rule, I think, to sustain that kind of commitment and passion for so long. My husband and I made it to twenty years. He's alive and well today because I left!!!!
